Bromyard'S history centre will be officially opening its doors to bygone days on October 8. Sir Thomas Dunne will perform the opening ceremony at 4pm for Bromyard and District Local History Society's new centre. The research room is already open and an exhibition room is soon to be inplace as well as many history-related activities and a considerable archive which will be available to the public. Founded in 1966, the society provides illustrated lectures and guided outings to encourage interest, research and publication of history.For further information call 01885 488755.
