A FIELD in Bromyard is being named after its original donor, whose family went on to theatrical fame.
Lucy Kempson gave the playing fields at the end of The Knapp to the town in 1943.
Now the fields will be named the Lucy Kempson Playing Fields.
Lucy's cousin Rachel, who lived in Church Street, married the great actor Sir Michael Redgrave.
The couple went on to become the parents of Lynn, Corin and Vanessa Redgrave, three of the best-known actors of recent years, featuring in many films and plays.
