A BANGLADESHI man was racially abused while driving his car through Hereford city centre.
The victim was in Canal Road at the junction with Commercial Road at 11.45pm last Saturday when a man stumbled in front of his burgundy coloured Toyota Carina car.
The offender then approached the vehicle and racially abused the driver before kicking the rear wing of the car, which caused a dent to the body work.
The attacker, who is thought to be about 25 years old, was of slim build, 5ft 7ins tall, and had a brown moustache.
He wore a dark grey jumper, blue or black trousers and carried a white bag, which Police believe contained a takeaway meal.
He was accompanied by a woman, who had shoulder length blond hair and wore a white top.
Anyone with information is asked to call PC Brian Davies at Hereford Police Station on 08457 444888.
