HEREFORD'S new graffiti busting gang is already making a difference to the city's public spaces.
Since its launch two weeks ago, at least 24 sites have been identified thanks to calls made by members of the public to the Graffiti Gang hotline.
Councillor Phil Edwards, cabinet member for the environment, expressed his satisfaction with progress so far.
"I'm very pleased that the graffiti hotline has got off to a positive start and members of the public are already noticing the improvements. Sites that have been identified are being cleaned up."
The clean-up can only continue with the help of the public and graffiti spotters are urged to contact the hotline with details.
Callers will need to provide information about location, the object or property the graffiti is on, whether it is public or private, the material it is on and the nature of the graffiti.
The hotline is 01432 261800.
