ALTHOUGH Leomin-ster Taekwondo Academy has been in existence for just 12 months, members have wasted little time in making an impact in the sport.
The academy, under coach first degree black belt Karl Manuschka, has already won many medals and crowned an excellent first year with a clutch of six medals at the British championships - two gold, one silver and three bronze.
Dale Jones and Geoff Wells came home with gold, Emma Lewis with silver while Sarah Eckley, Carrie Manuschka and Trudy Macklin earned bronzes.
For Emma and Trudy, the achievement was particularly remarkable as for both it was their first competition.
Leominster Taekwondo Academy's training evenings are on Wednesdays and Fridays at the Bridge Street Sports Centre in Leominster.
