Ledbury Town are embroiled in an internal dispute following the resignation of former manager Paul Wilband, with some players refusing to represent the club in the West Midlands League Premier Division side under the new management duo of Ian Ford and Kevin Barry.
But club chairman Chris Stephens is adamant that he and the directors will stick by their decision to appoint the new management team.
"Certain players have refused to play under Ian Ford and Kevin Barry, but that is life," commented Stephens.
"Some players will not be happy whomever you put in charge, but we have a big squad and Ledbury Town will carry on. It is the directors and chairman who appoint the managers and not the players."
Since the resignation of Wilband after a 2-0 home defeat by neighbours and league leaders Malvern Town, Ledbury have beaten Kington away from home in the Premier Division League Cup and on Saturday recorded a 4-1 league win at Smeth-wick.
