Peterchurch fire fighters were called to two house fires in the space of three hours in the Golden Valley.
The retained officers put out flames in a ground floor room of a detached home in Lower Maes-coed after an electrical meter box started the fire at 11.30pm on Monday.
At 2.30am the following day, another electrical meter box started a small blaze at a property in Closure Place, Peterchurch.
