HEREFORDSHIRE under-15 and under-17 girls turned in battling displays before going down to a double defeat to Worcestershire.
The under-15 side started strongly bit were unable to capitalise on some good goalscoring chances before Worcestershire hit back to score twice in quick succession midway through the match for a 2-0 win.
Worcestershire under-17s also provided a lesson in taking goalscoring chances as they came out on top with a 5-1 win over their Herefordshire counterparts for whom Vanessa Ball got the goal.
