CAN ANY of your readers explain why some people over 60, who pay ever-increasing council taxes to Hereford Council can not get concessionary parking in order to be able to visit, hospitals, dentist, opticians, bank, indoor market, farmers market etc?

I also notice with dismay the number at times it has been stated one of the reasons for the council tax increase is because the elderly are living longer.

Could this be a reason for us not getting parking concessions in Hereford? After reaching 60 should we all disappear?
