FINAL DAWN RUN - After 33 years of delivering the milk and newspapers to the residents of Aston Ingham, the 'milk lady', Dawn Bennett has decided to retire. No matter what the weather, Dawn almost always appeared, even when the depth of snow tempted many to use it as an excuse to remain at home.Somehow the milk float overcame all such difficulties. Just how much residents have appreciated Dawn's friendly service has been shown in the many cards, gifts and good wishes sent to her. She hasn't altogether left the scene yet as she is busy instructing her replacement on the route and the needs of all the customers and as a resident of Aston Ingham, she will always be around.
