THE husband-and-wife team of Nick and Claire Taylor collected the first trophy of the season at Llangorse Sailing Club last Sunday.
Fierce winds and driving rain delayed the start of the season by a week and conditions were still treacherous last Sunday. But eight crews braved the elements with the first three places going to Flying Fifteen boats.
The Taylors won and David Flint and David Hemingway were second, while third place was tied between Ian Howie and David Travis and Chris Holt and Martyn Gardiner.
