GLORIOUS music from the Baroque period can be enjoyed at St Mary's Parish Church, Ross-on-Wye, from 7.30pm on Saturday.
During the first half of Ross-on-Wye Choral Society's final concert of the season, the choir, conducted by Ian Fox and accompanied by The Regency Sinfonia, will perform Bach's Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring and Vivaldi's Gloria.
The orchestra will perform Bach's Suite No 3 in D.
In the second, the choir and orchestra will join force for Bach's Magnificat.
The society is continuing its policy of working with young soloists and on this occasion they will be joined by Kishani Jayasinghe and Elizabeth Weisberg (sopranos), Iestyn Davies (counter-tenor), Ed Lyon (tenor) and Philip Kay (baritone), all post-graduate students at the Royal Academy of Music in London.
