DAVID Rose, the new chief executive of the Hereford Hospitals NHS Trust, joined forces with consultant Andrew Corfield, Mel Fox and Charlie George to win the Mercia Healthcare Bob Tucker Memorial Charity Tournament at Burghill Valley.
Bob Tucker was the first general manager of Mercia Healthcare who died earlier this year after a long fight against acute myeloid leukaemia.
His widow Alison presented the prizes and over £2,000 for the Haematology Fund.
The DB's, captain Corfield, totalled 89 stableford points to finish nine points clear of second-placed Advantage Business Supplies.
The minor places were decided on a card countback with W&R Edwards third, Hotch Potch, fourth, and Hereford Round Table, fifth, after they all posted 76 points.
