PARISH MEETING - At their annual meeting on May 10, Councillor Alec Willis was re-appointed chairman with Councillor Les Herbert again acting as his deputy. Amongst topics discussed at the parish meeting were the continuing delays in building the footway on the A417, and the Herefordshire Planner's policy of not consulting parish councils on the issue of certificates of Lawful Use and development.

OPEN DAY - The Houghton Project, at Houghton Court (off the A417 on the Pencombe Road) provides facilities for disabled students in a farm environment. There will be an open day on Saturday, from 11 am to 3 pm, to demonstrate what's being done.
