Parish Council - At the last meeting of Clehonger Parish Council held at Innesfield Community Centre on April 29, Councillor Taylor was re-elected as chairman and Rob Williams was re-elected as vice chairman. Members of the Youth Club reported they had purchased some equipment from money they had received from the previous Youth Club and requested some money to purchase further equipment for the youth club. Councillor Williams proposed £250 was paid to the youth club at the next meeting and this was agreed by the parish council. The Youth Club meet every Thursday between 7pm and 9pm and are looking for some more adult volunteers. Ruth Lovelace and Chris Watson from Herefordshire Council informed the parish council that they were going to carry out a questionnaire regarding housing needs in Clehonger. Parking of vehicles at the school at the beginning and end of the day was discussed and the clerk was asked to write and let the school know that the Village Hall Committee had agreed that parents could park at the Village Hall car park and then walk to the school to collect their children. The next meeting of the parish council will be held on Thursday, May 27, at 7.30pm at Innesfield Community Centre.
