ANGLICAN METHODIST COVENANT -
Last week, at a special joint service in the Methodist Chapel, Presteigne, St. Andrew's Church and the Methodist church celebrated the signing of the new Covenant.
FLORAL ART - A garden party organised by the Presteigne and Borders Floral Art Society will be on Saturday, May 29, from 11am to 3pm in the gardens of the Radnorshire Arms, by invitation of manager, Philip Smart. NORTON CAMEO GROUP - The next meeting of the Norton-based social group, CAMEO, is on Wednesday, June 2, at 2.30 pm in Norton Manor Hotel by invitation of Lysette Phillips. Bookings will be taken for the coach trip to St Fagan's Museum of Welsh Life near Cardiff, on Wednesday, July 21. Again, this is open to all. THEATRE SHOW - Throw me a Bone devised and performed by Niki McCretton and choreographed by Shermaine Slocombe is a show for children and adults being presented by Mid Border Arts in the Assembly Rooms, Presteigne, on Saturday at 5pm. Phone 01544 267163 for information.
