FOOTBALL CLUB - Presteigne St Andrew's Football Club will be holding their annual tribute band Extravaganza, in Knighton Community Centre, on Saturday, May 29. This year the event will feature the Rolling Stones Tribute Band, supported by Soul Supply and the Whiskey Bandits. Doors will open at 6.30 pm and tickets are £12.50 in advance, and £15 on the door. FESTIVAL FINANCE - Presteigne Festival of Music and the Arts, which continues to go from strength to strength, has been given a £3,000 grant from the Welsh Church Act fund administered by Powys County Council.
