WESTFIELDS will be looking to repeat their success of last year when they go back 'into Europe' at the end of the month.
The city side, who have just completed their first season in the Midland Alliance, will be heading off for Barcelona to take part in the Copa Penya International Trophy against teams from Belgium, France, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Spain and Switzerland.
Last year Westfields took part in, and won, an international tournament in Prague.
"Sean Edwards and Darren Lynch, the managers, have worked hard and they will lead a 25-man party to Barcelona in the Copa Penya tournament," said West-fields' chief executive Andy Morris.
The tour leaves Hereford on May 28 and will be based in Lloret de Mar just outside Barcelona.
