IT was a hat-trick of wins for Ledbury Young Farmers when they retained the Rally Shield at Arkstone Court, Kingstone, on Saturday during Herefordshire Federation of Young Farmers' Clubs county rally competitions day.
Ledbury were clear winners, amassing 4,373 points and collected the Rally Shield for the third year in a row. Dilwyn climbed from fourth place last year to finish second overall with 3,816 points.
Welsh Newton retained three top placings and were only 100 points behind in third place with 3,716 points.
Successful competitors and teams will go forward to compete for Herefordshire at the Three Counties Countryside Show, the Royal Show and National Competitions Day. Herefordshire members hope to follow up last year's overall win and collection of trophies.
