Red Devils 33 Humfrys & Symonds 19: Humfrys & Symonds worked hard throughout the quarters, with strong play from Claire Davies and Laura Roberts and their passing was accurate. Goal shooter Cathy Yapp and Tina Morris defended well for Devils and this enabled them to pull ahead. Player-of-the-match Sophie Morris showed her versatility throughout the game

Beautox 54 Humfrys & Symonds 12: Humfrys & Symonds found this match extremely tough. Vicky Price and Caroline Howell shot well, but Beautox dominated the game. Kim Armitage and Jane Hopkins, for Beautox, interplayed in the circle with great skill, and Toni Douthwaite and Kim Snow fed both shooters with precision. Pam Emberton and Nicky Hill defended the circle well to give Beautox another win.

Folbigg Flyers 36 Panthers 9: Both teams struggled to field full squads, but Flyers, with six players, were too strong for Panthers' five. Folbigg shooters Isobel Crawford and Sue Hunt were on good form, and defenders Dawn and Jane Davies intercepted well to maintain a lead throughout.
