Colwall'S excellent sequence of results in the West of England Premier League Glos/Wilts Division 1 ended at local rivals Redmarley after eight successive wins.
Indisciplined early bowling saw Redmarley openers Watkins (106) and Hall (65) raise 165 for before they were parted.
Once the breakthrough had been made, however, James Wagstaff (3-38), Josh Hornyold (3-55) and Dave Sutton (3-76) reduced the home side to 200-8 before a late flurry from Wilshaw (25 no) saw them reach 246-9 which included 11 no-balls.
In reply, Colwall made a slow start, reaching 17 for the loss of Tom Wolfendale in the first 10 overs, and although Dave Powell (68), Nick Panniers (33) and Lee Hankins, whose 33 included the biggest six of the day, all contributed useful scores, Colwall's challenge ended 43 runs short.
