A HEREFORDSHIRE cider-maker supplied the perfect accompaniment to whet meat-eaters whistles during the launch of a celebrity chef's new cookbook on Monday.
Westons Cider, from Much Marcle, took 'a bottle or two' of Westons Organic for the launch of Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall's The River Cottage Meat Book at Smith's of Smithfield Restaurant in London.
Along with the organic cider provided by Westons Cider, also on the menu was a barbecue of selected meats fresh from Hugh's own farm.
Hugh said: "Westons Organic is one of the most quaffable ciders I've ever tasted. It has a great balance of fruit, acidity and alcohol and a clean appley aftertaste that just makes you open another bottle. Which I usually do!"
