Hereford Rowing Club stage their showpiece occasion with the annual City Regatta at Wyeside on Monday.
Crews from all over the country will converge on the River Wye to compete in both junior and senior events from 8am to 6pm.
Many home club rowers will also be in action as they make their final preparations for Henley Royal Regatta and the National Championships.
This year the the format has been changed to promote closer and more exciting racing.
With around 200 crews expected to compete, the regatta has been split into two divisions for the head-to-head races.
Highlight of the day should be the sprint eights held over 350 metres between 12 noon and 2pm.
Spectators can support some of Hereford's finest athletes and the usual refreshments are provided.
