NEW homes can be built at two sites in Bromyard, say planners.

Permission was given to Rocrest Ltd for three one-bedroom cottages and two two-bedroom flats on land at the junction of Pump Street and Little Hereford Street.

Bromyard Town Council objected on the grounds that the scheme was 'over-development of the site', there was no parking provision and a lack of access for emergency vehicles.

The town council supported a second housing scheme at Pump Street but expressed concern about lack of parking space for eight homes.

Morpheus Construction Ltd was given the go-ahead to convert a building into four one-bedroom flats and four two-bed units at 19 Pump Street.
