A HEREFORDSHIRE mother-of-two acted in a despairing manner on national television to try and win a dream holiday to Los Angeles.
Lynne Nugent, from Bosbury, performed two scenes from the Channel 4 hit series, Desperate Housewives, on the Richard and Judy show after being selected for the special competition by submitting a picture of herself to the duo.
The 44-year-old said she tried to draw on her own experience of bringing up two young children to play the role as cameras filmed last weekend.
"We filmed one scene at the Feathers in Ledbury and another at my home, and I played the parts of Susan and Lynette," she said.
"With one nine-year-old and one seven-year-old I think I can mostly relate to Lynette as she's the one who gets stressed out by her three boys."
Lynne received some help from her husband Paul and her friend Trudy Hodkin, who both joined in the acting.
Richard and Judy viewers yesterday (Wednesday) saw for themselves the scenes that Lynne and her friends made.
The viewers have to choose their favourite three actresses from the six original entrants before deciding who should go to America to visit the set where the original desperate housewives performed.
