A HEREFORDSHIRE church group are searching for entertaining anecdotes to recount in a special fundraising evening.
Members of St Guthlac's Church in Little Cowarne want historic village tales for a night of local nostalgia at the Three Horseshoes Inn on Sunday, April 24.
All money raised from the event will go towards repairing their 16th Century Norman church.
Organisers are inviting anyone with a funny story, heroic deed or family photograph with a connection to the Little Cowarne church to get in touch.
Auctioneer Graham Baker will wind the stories into a speech on the fundraising evening and will produce a computerised slide show with the submitted photographs.
Food and drinks will be served, and there will also be an auction and live music.
The event starts at 7pm and tickets are priced at £10 per person. For more information call Janet Whittall on 01885 400276.
