ELDERLY people living in rural areas around Bromyard are benefiting from a £2,000 donation from the Co-op's Community Dividend fund.
Age Concern Bromyard and District is using the money to help fund its project The Rural Roundabout which takes elderly people on day trips .
Chief officer for Age Concern Bromyard, David Hendry, said: "Elderly people living in the rural Bromyard area who don't have their own transport, are very limited to what they can do. Thanks to the Co-op's kind donation we can run the Rural Round-about project and hire coaches and subsidise day trips for them."
