Tarrington ANTHEM - The evening in Tarrington Parish Church on March 30, in which Tarrington brass performed the debut of the march 'Tarrington' proved to be an outstanding success.
A full attendance in church enjoyed 'Tarrington' and a programme of other music played by Dave Coleman and the band.
So much so, the composer Trevor Sharp received a standing ovation.
QUIZ EVENING - Will be held in the Community Hall on Saturday, April 23, at 7.30pm. Entries for a team of four will be £5, to include refreshments and a raffle. Proceeds will be split between Yarkhill and Tarrington churches. For more information ring 01531 670483.
ROGATION SUNDAY - This year is on May 1. The Rogation Service will beheld that Sunday at Freetown Farm at 11am, outdoors, weather permitting, by kind permission of Mr and Mrs R Bradstock. Bring a picnic for afterwards there will be Maypole dancing and Tarrington cider.
