THERE’S plenty to laugh about in The Courtyard’s autumn season, with 10 Comedy Clubs, three big-name comedians, an hilarious one-man show from Red Dwarf creator Rob Grant and a wonderful tribute to the late, great Bob Monkhouse, as well as an exciting selection of musical comedians.

But comedy is not all that’s on the line-up to take you through to Christmas and the ever-popular panto, which this year is Beauty and the Beast.

September sees the return to the venue of the fabulous Ola Onabule, the only live performer at the Beckhams’ wedding, a stunning vocalist who gains rave reviews. He’ll be followed on to the main house stage by The Courtyard’s autumn musical, Calamity Jane.

Anyone who’s already experienced the extraordinary talent of Ennio Marchetto, the original quick change artist who employs the art of origami to stunning effect, won’t want to miss his return visit to The Courtyard on October 10, while fans of Herefordshire’s only professional dance company, 2Faced, will be excited by the arrival of their latest work, Still Breathing, on Monday and Tuesday, October 12 and 13.

Following a sell-out run last autumn, local favourites Bottleneck bring back their brilliantly funny musical comedy, Girls Night.

For full details of what’s on offer for the coming season, which also includes Mid Wales Opera’s Marriage of Figaro and a spectacular concert from Mugenkyo Taiko Drummers, visit courtyard.org.uk or call the box office on 01432 340555 to book.
