A HEREFORD college’s blacksmith department has made it to the regional finals of an award scheme.
The National School of Blacksmithing at Hereford College of Technology’s Holme Lacy campus was nominated in the Daily Telegraph for the Best Traditional Business Award category in the Countryside Alliance awards.
Entrants had to play a role in preserving a rural skill or tradition, help keep skills alive that may otherwise be lost and contribute to rural heritage.
