COUNTY residents can get credit crunch friendly by learning how to lower their phone costs on a new course.
The eight-week workshop at The Community Learning Centre on Stanberrow Road in Hereford explains how to combine mobile, skype, webcams and other internet services to communicate safely on-line at a reduced cost.
Starting on February 8, the £30 course is just one of various IT related programmes taking place there this year in conjunction with Herefordshire College of Technology, and is free to learners receiving certain benefits.
A drop in service is also available for those wanting to check emails or go on-line.
