ROSS residents will have a second chance to quiz the county’s senior police officer next week.
Chief Superintendant Mark Turner, Herefordshire’s senior police officer, will be answering questions from members of the public at the Larruperz Centre next Thursday, (November 20).
The meeting will also be chaired by Councillor Bernard Hunt, Chair of the Herefordshire Policing Board.
He said: “We hope to see many people coming along. We are going out to the public as we think its important they have the opportunity to find out more about how their police service operates and performs and to be able to question those responsible for decision making and service delivery.”
Attendees will also be able to quiz and hear from John Jones, Head of Contact Management and Service Quality who will talk about how police manage calls for assistance.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet with the officers informally at the end of the meeting.
The meeting will be held in the Music Room, The Larruperz Centre, Grammar School Close, Ross-on-Wye from 7pm until 9pm.
