FUN activities for children and advice for parents are on offer at a Ross-on-Wye centre this summer.
The Ryefield Children’s Centre is holding action packed family days on Mondays during August as part of a relaunch of weekly drop-in sessions for families on Tuesday mornings.
These drop-in sessions will provide information and support on training, employment, housing benefits and budgeting.
On August 11, the centre is holding a jobs fair and families will also have the opportunity to learn circus skills, try their hand at biscuit decorating and be entertained by the Green Tomatoes theatre group.
The final session on August 18 will include a real beach in the centre’s garden, donkey rides, mural painting, a barbecue, beauty treatments, a soft play area and library story time.
