A CLASS A drug has been ordered to be destroyed after it was found in the possession of a Herefordshire offender.
James Jarvis entered a guilty plea to one count of possessing a controlled class A drug when he appeared before magistrates in Hereford last month.
The court heard that the 33-year-old had been caught in possession of a quantity of controlled class A drug cocaine in Leominster on April 26.
Jarvis, who is of Westcroft, Leominster, was handed a fine of £153, with magistrates saying they had taken his guilty plea to the charge into account when imposing the penalty.

The cocaine was ordered to be forfeited and destroyed under section 27 of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971.
Jarvis was ordered to pay court costs of £85 and a £61 victim surcharge.
He must make monthly payments to the court of £50, starting this month, until the bill is paid off.
