HEREFORD'S brand new Matalan store will be opening in the Old Market next Saturday.
A spokesperson for Matalan has confirmed that the store will be welcoming customers in on Saturday, November 23, to experience the exciting new unit.
It's certainly not an event to be missed, with the spokesperson for the British fashion giant adding that on the day, there will be some "local entertainment", and even a few giveaways.
When giving a sneak peek as to what the store will include, the spokesperson added that the Hereford branch will have: "all departments, with a strong fashion offering and small homeware. The store will also have concessions Claire’s Accessories and Card Factory".
The Hereford store will be open 9am to 8pm Monday to Friday, 9am to 7pm on Saturdays and 11am to 5pm on Sundays.
The Old Market store will have the additional benefit of click-and-collect, for customers who may prefer to shop online.

In August, Mike Truelove of the Hereford Business Improvement District confirmed that the chain store would be coming to Hereford.
Since then, the British chain has been busy, having advertised jobs for the Hereford branch, which included positions for two team managers, and two retail assistants.
In October, work on the exterior of the large Old Market unit began, with striking signs appearing outside, including a charming "Oh, hello Hereford" sign.
