A HEREFORDSHIRE shop owner has said that she is "delighted" to have won a business award.
The Shop @ Coo Corner in Fownhope has been named retailer of the year in the Herefordshire Business Awards.
Owner Vic Cooper said: "We are delighted. It feels super important to be recognised for all the hard work the last four years. We champion local makers and sustainable retail solutions and really believe that retail can come back to life by more independent shops being promoted!"
The shop is set in the middle of the village of Fownhope, just outside Hereford, and offers a range of gifts to buy, as well as a cafe.
Products include homeware, clothes, books and toys, as well as preloved items.
Ms Cooper added: "We champion design and innovation with an emphasis on supporting local makers, designers and creatives. We have an ethos towards reuse, recycle and sustainability in our product range, giving suggestions for alternatives to plastic and stock a range of vegan friendly products. We also offer refillable household cleaning and beauty products, all made in the UK."
