Fire crews descended on a Herefordshire field last week after a large animal had become trapped in flood water.
Much of the county's fields was consumed by murky flood water last week, as the vicious weather took hold, which left one animal stuck in a flooded field.
Fire and rescue crews descended on the scene at Lugwardine Bridge at 2.15 pm on October 19, to rescue a sheep from the flooded field.

Two Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crews – one each from Hereford and Malvern Fire Stations, including the Malvern Water First Responders – plus the boat crew from Hereford, arrived at the scene and managed to swiftly rescue the sheep, which was near the River Lugg, with no casualties and no other emergency services required.
After having freed the sheep from the flooded area, the incident was then marked as pending closure at 3.42pm.
