A MAN has been handed a hefty fine after he was convicted of being drunk and disorderly in Hereford.
Kieron Ellis was convicted of being drunk and disorderly in a public place by magistrates in Hereford on September 23.
The court heard from prosecutor John Dove that the 21-year-old had been drunk and disorderly in Commercial Road in Hereford on December 27 last year.
This is an offence under section 91 of the Criminal Justice Act 1967.
Ellis, of Grandison Rise, Hereford, was not represented by a defence solicitor at his court appearance last month.

He was fined £220 for the drunk and disorderly offence.
He must also pay costs to the Crown Prosecution Service of £150 and an £88 victim surcharge, which is an obligatory government surcharge and goes towards a fund that helps to support victims of crime.
Ellis must pay his court bill in full by October 21.
