Fire crews have been BATTLING flood waters in Herefordshire overnight.
Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crew have said they attended two incidents last night (September 26) involving vehicles becoming stuck in flood water.
Crew from Leominster fire station, including their boat crew from Hereford and Worcester, and their drone service from Ledbury, were called at around 6pm last night, to a vehicle in water in Upper Hill.
The fire service said that a man and a woman had self-extricated from their vehicle, and made their way onto solid ground before being handed over to the ambulance service.
Later yesterday evening, at around 10pm, crews from Eardisley and Peterchurch were called after a vehicle had become stuck in water on the B4352 in Bredwardine.
A spokesperson for the fire service said that they were not required as the vehicle had been towed from flood water by a fellow motorist. There were no casualties reported from the scene.
