WHERE will it end? Public houses are disappearing through supermarkets selling cheap alcohol, banning smoking inside and outside pubs, and from the Covid lockdown (Smoking ban: Pub landlords’ dire warnings, September 12).

Freedom, our freedom is dying and social interaction is almost at an end. This next intrusion on our freedom of choice will see the end of the public houses.
