A DRUG-DRIVER was caught behind the wheel in Herefordshire after using cannabis.
Alfonso Fontoura, 22, of Millers Close, Leominster, had 3.4 microgrammes (mg) of delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) in his blood when police stopped him in the town's Etnam Street.
The limit for THC is two mg.
He was driving a silver Ford Fiesta in Etnam Street on April 17 when he was caught, said prosecutor Camila Toscano.

He admitted the offence and entered a guilty plea to one count of driving a motor vehicle with a proportion of a controlled drug above the limit before magistrates at Hereford Magistrates' Court, represented by duty defence solicitor Matt Lewis.
His guilty plea was taken into account by the magistrates when they imposed his sentence.
Magistrates disqualified Fontoura from driving for 12 months and fined him £120. He also has to pay court costs of £85 and a £48 victim surcharge which goes towards supporting victims of crime.
