Work has begun on a new Hereford restaurant, just weeks after its predecessor shut its doors for the final time.
Signs have appeared outside the former Wildwood restaurant in the Old Market, which closed on September 6.
A bold sign has now appeared outside the unit for it's new occupant, En Steak.
En Steak will be run by the En Group, which already operates En BBQ opposite the new restaurant in Old Market. The menu will include a variety of cuts, as well as a selection of seafood, vegetarian options and much more to cater to all tastes.
En Steak already has a branch in Birmingham, but on its Hereford branch Facebook page, set up last month, it described the new venue as “a proudly independent, family-run, local business serving Hereford cattle sourced from award-winning Hereford butchers and Herefordshire farms”.
The restaurant revealed that it would be opening in the Old Market last month, with a spokesperson for the En Group saying: "The En Group is thrilled to announce the upcoming En Steak Hereford at its new location in Old Market, in the former Wildwood site, situated opposite our existing En BBQ and En Sushi restaurant.
"We are dedicated to serving locally-sourced Herefordshire meat. Our menu will feature Tomahawk, sirloin, rump and more. We'll also offer a selection of seafood, vegetarian options, and much more.
"We will announce the opening date as soon as it is confirmed."
