Aroma de Portugal in Bridge Street opened for the first time this morning.
The new coffee shop welcomed its first customers to sample its menu of coffee and Portuguese food.

In a statement on the cafe's Facebook page ahead of its opening, the owners wrote: "We are brewing something special.
"Our new coffee shop opens on September 14 at 10am. Come join us for great coffee and good vibes."
A planning application for the premises was first submitted by Erica De Fatima Dias Cardoso in August. Her application described the new venture as a “stylish, family-owned business serving an exciting range of coffees, hot and cold beverages, pastries, baked goods, cakes, fresh wraps, snacks and a light lunch menu”.
“Being within easy reach of transport connections, the café is perfectly placed to provide a warm, friendly, and welcoming environment to socialise, meet, or use as a work base,” the application added.
