The court heard from the prosecutor that the 56-year-old, of Park Street, Hereford, had failed to give information relating to the driver of a Skoda Superb, who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence, to police in Gwent when required to do so on March 12.
Magistrates in Newport, South Wales, fined Exton £660 for the offence. He also received six penalty points on his driving record.
Exton was also ordered to pay prosecution costs of £90 and a £264 victim surcharge, which is used to help fund services supporting victims of crime.
