FIREFIGHTERS were called to rescue a woman who was trapped in a lift in Hereford yesterday evening (September 2).
A crew from Hereford Fire Station was called to apartments in the city's West Street at 9.15pm.
A woman in her 20s was trapped in a lift and was rescued by firefighters.

She was not injured and no other emergency services were called to the scene.
Firefighters left the scene just half an hour later, at 9.47pm, and the incident was marked as pending closure.
A spokesperson for Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service (HWFRS) said: "A HWFRS crew from Hereford Fire Station was called at 9.15pm on September 2 to a rescue from a lift at apartments in West Street, Hereford. A woman in her 20s was rescued from the lift by fire service personnel. There were no casualties and no other emergency services were required. The incident was marked as pending closure at 9.47pm."
