A FIRE at a farm in Herefordshire was fought by crews from across the county.
Engines from Ross-on-Wye, Whitchurch and Ledbury, and the water carrier from Leominster, were called out around 7.30pm on August 30 to Hildersley, near Ross-on-Wye, where an agricultural building was well alight.
The fire was extinguished using two hosereel jets, a nine-metre ladder and two triple extension ladders, with water augmented from a hydrant.

Crews were at the scene battling the blaze until after midnight, and then returned at 2am to check for hotspots. None were found, and the incident was marked as closed at 2.12am.
There were no casualties and police and ambulance services were not called out.
A spokesperson for Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said: "Three Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crews, one each from Ross-on-Wye, Whitchurch and Ledbury Fire Stations, plus the water carrier from Leominster, were called at 7.38pm on August 30 to an agricultural building fire at a farm in Hildersley, Ross-on-Wye. A fire in the roof of an empty building, around eight metres by six metres, was well alight."
