A THIEF has been fined for stealing meat and cheese from a shop in Hereford.
Louise Sherwood entered guilty pleas to one count of theft from a shop and one count of failing to surrender to bail at the appointed time when she appeared before magistrates this month.
Kidderminster Magistrates’ Court heard from prosecutor Thomas Wickstead that the 33-year-old, represented at the hearing by solicitor Barry Newton, had stolen meat and cheese worth £85 from Hereford’s Marks and Spencer supermarket on June 11.

The court bill is to be settled by September 6.
She also admitted failing to surrender to custody at Hereford Magistrates’ Court on August 7 after her release from Hereford Police Station almost two months earlier, and for this was fined £50.
