A SEX offender has been back up before the magistrates for failing to comply with court-ordered requirements and breaching a restraining order.
Adam Smith entered guilty pleas to one count of failing to comply with notification requirements of the sex offenders register and one count of harassment by breaching a restraining order on conviction when he appeared before magistrates in Hereford this month. He also breached a restraining order made by Worcester Crown Court in 2021 which banned him from seeing or contacting a woman.

But, the court heard from prosecutor Lauren Millichip, the 29-year-old had failed without reasonable excuse to comply with his notification requirements on November 9 last year.
Smith, of Dry Thistle Close, Bromyard, was handed a community order for the offence, ordering him to complete up to 20 days of rehabilitation activities over the next three years. He must also complete 100 hours of unpaid work over the next 12 months.
Smith was also ordered to pay prosecution costs of £85 and a £114 victim surcharge.
