A DRINK-DRIVER who was caught at a Herefordshire petrol station has appeared in court.
Samuel Groves admitted drink-driving when he appeared before magistrates in Hereford.
Groves was caught at the Texaco fuel station at the Homend, Ledbury, on June 16, prosecutor Camila Toscano said.
Groves was represented at the hearing on August 14 by defence solicitor Chris Read, and pleaded guilty to one count of driving a motor vehicle while his alcohol level was above the limit.

He had 61 micrograms (mg) of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath, exceeding the limit which is 35 mg.
Groves, 21 and of Ochre Hill, was disqualified from driving for 17 months and fined £400. He must also pay prosecution costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £160.
Groves has been given the option of completing a drink-drive awareness course by July 16 next year which would reduce his course by 17 weeks.
