It's official, the August Bank holiday has finally arrived! Many people in Herefordshire will be wondering how to spend their upcoming bank holiday, and many will be hoping for at least some sunshine to appear on the long weekend.
For those hoping for a scorcher on Saturday, unfortunately, it doesn’t look like it's going to happen. According to the Met Office, Herefordshire is likely to see light rain during the day, but sunny intervals will appear in the afternoon.
At its peak, the temperature is set to be around 19 degrees. The temperature may not quite be shorts weather- but you could certainly enjoy an outdoor drink, or a rural walk.
According to the Met Office, on Sunday (August 25), we can expect it to be cloudy across the county, with similar temperatures of around 19 degrees. The forecast changes slightly during the day, with light showers expected by late morning.
It looks like Monday will deliver better weather, with temperatures set to rise to around 22 degrees. Sunny intervals are expected to be present during the day, which then looks to turn to a partially cloudy evening.
